|Got up at about 10am which was pretty good really. Decided to wander up to Kings Park as Dave had recommended it to us. What he didn't tell us was that it was at the top of a VERY steep hill! However, it was worth the climb as the views of the city were excellent.|
After that we came back down to the riverfront and had lunch on Barrack St. jetty at a little cafe - we had red snapper burgers and they were delicious. Then we got on the trolley bus city tour which was great value at $24 each for 2 hours - and you can stay on and go round and round all day if you like, even going into the next day - with Barry the entertainer/driver. This helped us get our bearings a bit, and we also know lots of useless information about the city such as Hay St. being the longest street in the city at 20km long.
After getting off the bus we had a drink in the Lucky Shag, then a wander through town to get our breakfast for the following morning, swatting the numerous flies that seemed to love buzzing round Justin's head as we went.
Had a lovely dinner at Halo's on the jetty - as every other restaurant in town seemed to be shut - bit dead on a Sunday.
